MS Excel is a powerful and versatile tool which enables users to store, manipulate and analyse data quickly and easily. It includes a variety of business features which automate many common tasks, making it an essential application for businesses of all sizes.

This course, Intermediate Excel, builds on basic MS Excel skills and explores ways in which data can be further and more effectively analysed and manipulated. The course is designed as a practical workshop, allowing participants to receive hands-on experience of all topics covered.

The following areas will be covered:

  • Manipulating Data, including freezing panes, levels of detail, filters & sorts, and data lists
  • More Formatting, including conditional formatting, and data validation
  • Auditing & Changing Tracking, including precedent & dependent cells, circular references, and viewed tracked changes
  • Linking Workbooks, including organising data, sharing data between workbooks, and updating links
  • Charts & Drawing Objects, including test boxes, pictures, and shapes
  • Excel & Other Applications, including embedding & linking, hyperlinks, and saving work as web pages.
